Las Brisas Mexican - North Fort Myers

We were looking for a good Mexican Restaurant while down here for a wedding and found this little gem in North Fort Meyers. Las Brisas is very small, reasonably priced, but the food is best categorized as authentic. Not anything like your chain style (Taco Bell etc. food. The menu described what you would get in English. I had the Tampiquena which was Skirt Steak and two Chicken Enchiladas. We also had the Nachos and the Chiro-Queso (Queso dip with sausage bits . Both appetizers were outstanding. The steak was cooked Mexican style so flattened out (thus thin . But with the Refried beans, and enchiladas it was to my tastes exceptional. Others at the table expressed satisfaction with the Quesadillas; one chicken and another steak , as well as Chiles Relenos. The only knock was one order of Chicken Enchiladas was deemed a bit dry. Mine with the Tampiquena was moist. Also the tortilla chips could be better. But over-all I was very impressed and would certainly recommend the place. Oh lastly they had live entertainment singing Mexican ballad songs. A nice touch!

The food here was authentic and extremely superb. I live directly across the street from this restaurant and it has not been open for the past two months at least. I used to order food here for takeout and even when they were open, I never saw more than one or two customers at any given time. It's extremely unfortunate since the food was VERY good, authentic and very fresh... and I even saw them feed a homeless man who was loitering around the premises. They seemed like a very nice group of employees. I'm curious to find out if they plan to reopen at a different location or if they are going to throw in the towel completely. If I do find out, I will update my review. If I see any of the owners over there, I will find out any and all information as I can and relay it to the public.

Very good food, our waitress Vivian was very nice and attentive.

That is a good Mexican restaurant to eat anyone who should try it.

Unbelievable. you will think you are not in the usa. it will no longer be real or better than this place.
