I went to this restaurant with my family for some chips and sausages. The chip shop was fantastic, the chips were delicious and the sausages had a great hint of spice that enhanced the flavor. The prices were very reasonable, with a large portion of chips and 2 sausages costing around £6.50 - a great deal. The only drawback was that they do not accept card payments, but thankfully I had cash with me. I will definitely be returning for the amazing taste.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for several years, as it is my local fish and chip shop. The fries are delicious and the fish is always fried fresh on the spot, so there is no long wait - usually only five to seven minutes. In my opinion, this restaurant deserves a perfect ten out of ten rating, even better than Pappas!

Alexander’s Plaice is a brilliant takeaway for the village of Healing, and locals feel very much welcomed as soon as they step through the door. Expect some very good and fresh meals, particularly the fish and chips itself. Also, there’s a great display of options on show as well (such a battered sausage, pies, pizzas etc. One thing to improve on is the options for vegetarian customers as it is very limited. Other than that, a great place to order from for a night-in meal.
