The Blue Bell Inn

I recently visited the Blue Bell for their Sunday Carvery and it was excellent. I had no complaints about the food on my plate and the price was very reasonable. It was definitely worth the visit, although I do have one minor complaint - the dining area was quite hot. I noticed that a few other customers were also commenting on how uncomfortably warm it was. Despite this, I will definitely be returning in the future.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. I have visited multiple times and have always had a great meal. I have tried a variety of items from the menu, but my favorite are the Brie wedges. The old-fashioned decor in the bar area creates a nice ambiance. I particularly enjoy the quiz nights as I have a better chance of answering questions correctly. The chip butties are a nice added touch. I have given it 4 stars because I prefer the bar area over the restaurant section, which I find lacks a bit of atmosphere and feels a bit sterile. With some improvements, the restaurant could enhance its overall experience.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. I had the chicken fajitas which were very tasty and cooked beautifully. My husband had the sirloin steak and he said it was cooked to perfection. We were completely stuffed afterwards. The restaurant is located in a lovely old pub and the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Well what has happened to the Blue Bell .There's no atmosphere whatsoever and bar staff didn't make eye contact too busy on her phone . Mum nd Alan had 2 of the lunch menu their starters were OK but then came main course. I had Dirty fries well it came Theresa's suppose to be sour cream cheese sauce and pulled pork there wasnt any of them instead came fries with style bacon bits Mums gammon was very underdone really but cooked very gristly. All chips we rather burnt .We always loved going her but I'm afraid to say we'll be giving it a kiss for a while .

What an excellent pub the blue bell is! Evie who works behind the bar is very friendly and welcoming, ruby who hosted the quiz is very polite, Lyla is very helpful and has a bright personality. All the other staff are very chirpy. I will definitely be back!
