The New Inn Fremington - North Devon

We had Sunday lunch today 3 March amazing loads on plate and taste great. Nut roast was really good. Will return.

I'm so glad we found this lovely gem. Had Sunday lunch, and it was so nice to actually have hot, freshly prepared food. Huge sizes, no room for dessert. 3 different plate sizes offered, I had medium, which really was a large plate of food. Very reasonably priced, the lady owner was so lovely and attentive, she made us feel very welcome. We will be going back to sample more home cooked delights.

We turned up weds (5 mins b4 3pm they finish Specials at 3pm!!! Treated like royalty. My 91yr old mummy+me xx... she'd been to hospital at Barnstaple we stopped Fremington because it's where mummy's baby brother used to live . What a welcome xx. Whilst I parked the car mumsy was on the front bench. TWO regulars (well oiled GENTLEMEN walked my mummy to the bar. GARLIC MUSHROOMS gorgeous as were ALL THE STAFF. FANKOO

We held our Mother's wake there, and it was fantastic, lovely food and great service, the Landlady was constantly asking if everything waa OK, would definitely recommend.

Nice clean hot food. Friendly service. Popped in at lunchtime on the off chance Was met by a friendly lady serving. It was very quiet but I'm sure in the eveni gs it's busier and livelier
