Antidote - North Devon

We had a table for 2 on a Saturday evening. We were made very welcome from the moment we entered. Front of house and service was excellent. The menu is not vast but something for most tastes. The food is exceptional in taste and presentation. Very good value for money. Plan to book next visit and definitely recommend booking in advance.

Stunning food and can highly recommend if you want to have an amazing eating and drinking experience

This was definitely the best meal we have had in a very long time and was definitely up there with the best Mitchelin restaurants. Every dish we had, the plate was emptied, and the taste of each mouthful was delicious.

We eat out quite a bit, but can honestly say this was the best meal we’ve ever had. So often when you go out for a meal you’re left feeling a bit disappointed, but this was amazing. The service was perfect, friendly and welcoming, the menu (3 courses, with 3 options for each) was varied and appealing, and the quality of the food was outstanding. And at £40 for 3 courses it is also incredible value. We live over 200 miles away, but would plan a weekend in Ilfracombe just so we could eat here again. Thank you so much in case you’ve not guessed, we rather enjoyed it!

Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed every single dish we ordered. There were innovative combinations like my appetizer with salmon, radishes and citrus, which was delicious. The portions were just right and the service was wonderful. Highly recommend.
