Jimmy's Bakery - North Bergen

Wheat Croissants are top notch but they need to update their hours. Just came all the way from Woodbridge thinking they were open 24/7

Great donuts. The bakery itself is small bit clean. The donuts are really good. Probably one of the best around although there is very little selection. There's only a few types.

The bread here is fresh every visit for years. It even stays fresher for longer if you store it properly. Don't be discouraged if the person working the counter on your visit grabs the bread from the racks that are behind the counter instead of the ones that are inside the bins. Only because that bread is actually fresher, like fresh out of the oven fresher or a few minutes removed from the oven kind of fresh. The bread in the bins are always fresh, but you don't always get the chance to get the oven ready fresh. The bread at Jimmy's bakery is very fairly priced and caters to the entire community. The donuts are also fairly priced based on the size of the donuts. The donuts paired with coffee make for a quick snack that will hold you down till your next meal. Overall, this bakery is very good. Fresh bread, good selection of beverages, great prices, hard working staff and they're open 24/7

Disappointed. Nothing fresh. Everything tasted like it was prepackaged. I tried 4 or 5 different items and all was the same. I have no idea where the high reviews I read, came from.

This restaurant is consistently amazing. You may have come across mixed reviews, but they have really improved. Every time my dad and I visit, it’s a great experience. The bread is always warm and delicious, and the donuts are simply fantastic!
