McFerguson Bistro - North Bay

My husband and I recently dined at this restaurant on Saturday. He ordered the regular 2 egg breakfast, while I opted for the gourmet grilled cheese. I have to say, it was the best grilled cheese I have ever had. They used fancy bread, garlic butter, a variety of cheeses, and even added bacon! It was absolutely delicious. My husband's breakfast also came with a small fruit salad on the side. The atmosphere was quiet and the location downtown made it a great spot to visit after the farmers market. I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast, I promise you won't be disappointed.

McFerguson's is on the corner of McIntyre and Ferguson (hence the name). I adored this place when it was The Magic Kettle. We had lunch here since we work close by, but an hour was not quite enough time to dine, even though the restaurant was not full. We ordered the Beef Sliders and french fries to share. The food was excellent ... the beef was tender and juicy and very flavourful. The fries were fresh cut and crispy (and you get a huge bowl of them if you order the regular size). The gravy was really good too. I will probably not eat here again over lunch, while I'm at work. If you are not on a schedule and don't mind waiting, the food is good, albeit a little pricey.

Service with a smile, WIFI on premises. Great breakfast menu family style restaurant great value and cost very reasonable. \ never felt rushed

My wife and I were exploring downtown North Bay early in the morning, looking for a restaurant that served breakfast.

I enjoyed a delicious hamburger and the soup of the day, which was cream of potato with sausage.
