A&w - North Aurora

How they manage to forget items I went back and I should have checked. But still missing items. When you call to tell them customer service is awful! Now I remember why I stopped coming

I hadn’t been here since I was a kid and it’s great to know this spot is still just as good. The burgers were fresh with good ingredients. The fries and new cheese curds also on point. The strawberry shake good, and the best root beer float around. Service was quick and very nice. The booths were clean. I fully recommend this A&W.

I had 2 cheeseburgers, onion rings and a frosty mug of root beer. The total cost was, $7.70. Everything was very good and they gave me a free refill of root beer in a cup to take with me.

This particular A&W Restaurant is worth the 40 minute drive from where we live. Fortunately, it’s very well maintained and the food is fresh. As is the Root Beer, of course. I wish more individuals would consider franchising A&W’s in and around Northern Illinois. I was fortunate to grow up in the Sterling/Rock Falls area where they had drive-in A&W in both cities. They’ve long since closed, and this is by far the best one around. Will return!
