Tejo Restaurant Bar - North Arlington

I've dined here before with no issues, but I was disappointed during our recent visit with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. The drinks were wonderful, and the appetizers were good, but things went downhill when dinner arrived. My husband’s pork chops were served with an overly salty sauce, and my medium-well steak was tough and hard to chew. We voiced our concerns, and the waiter took both dishes back to the kitchen. When my steak returned, he insisted it was just as I ordered, but my husband’s pork chops came back dry and lacking flavor, as if the sauce had been washed off before grilling. We ended up paying the bill, but I’m sad to say we won’t be returning. Thank you for making our anniversary memorable, but not in a good way.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent! Service was stellar, and I enjoyed dining in. For dinner, the price per person is around $50 to $100. Overall, I’d rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

Night cap only. I don’t know the food. We came after the restaurant closed. The bar service was quick and the drinks were well made. They had a DJ that played a variety of music. We only stopped by for a nightcap, so I can't comment on the food since we arrived after the restaurant had closed. However, the bar service was prompt, and the drinks were expertly crafted. They had a DJ who played a nice mix of music. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to enjoy some drinks and listen to great tunes.
