Papa John's Pizza - Norristown

We ordered a stuffed crust pizza last night. After about an hour and a half of waiting, I called to see if it was on the way. The app said it was on the way for about and hour and I literally live 2 miles from the store. The manager asked me to hold onand then came back on the line to tell me it was on the way and then HUNG UP! I was about to call back and ask for an e.t.a.when the delivery person called. He proceeded to tell me that my address did not exist. I'm sorry, what??? I can assure you I donot live in an alternate universe. I've lived in the same house for over 30 years and I'm pretty sure I've mastered memorizingmy address. When the delivery person finally finds me (I was standing outside waving and he literally drove right by me 4times. he hands me my now ice cold pizza. Not a word of apology. Not a word... period. Just a look of thinly veiled contempt.We didn't even eat it because of how nasty the driver looked at us. It wasn't even sealed so we were afraid it was tamperedwith. If I could give this papa John's less than one star, I would do it. Fortunately there are a hundred pizzerias around hereso this is no loss. Order at your own peril.

AVOID IF PLACING AN ORDER FOR DELIVERY! They just cannot handle deliveries and they should be honest with their customers about that. Waited 3.5 hours no pizza. Not sure what business model they're using, but if the goal is to stop people frompatronizing them, they are doing a great job. UPDATE: The delivery person actually showed up at my door at midnight (6.5 hoursafter I ordered and 3 hours after I cancelled my order).

Watch out for the stuffed crust at this restaurant. I became very ill on two separate occasions after eating it and upon closer inspection, I discovered that it wasn't just melted cheese but also raw dough left in the crust. Both incidents occurred at the Norristown location, so I'm unsure if this is a widespread issue at Papa John's or just specific to this particular location's cooking practices.

The restaurant consistently delivers satisfactory quality food that is prepared quickly.

I ordered a large pizza at 7:30 and it arrived at 8:05 hot and fresh! The tracker was completely accurate and the delivery person followed the instructions I provided perfectly. I am extremely satisfied with the service, speed, and quality. I will definitely be ordering again.
