The Black Spruce Restaurant

After our long hike in Gros Morne, we were in need of a place to celebrate and enjoy some seafood. The Black Spruce did not disappoint, serving up a delicious and fresh meal that almost transported us to the ocean. The service was fantastic as well.

My partner and I dined at this restaurant during our two-week trip to Newfoundland, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our culinary experiences. The scallop risotto was out of this world, and my partner thoroughly enjoyed his beef tenderloin. The service from the waitstaff was exceptional. Make sure to make a reservation as it is a popular spot!

My friend and I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant last week. The atmosphere was lovely and our server Daphne went above and beyond! When I mentioned I have celiac disease, she made sure my meal was safe by bringing me gluten-free bread and even worked with the chef to create a special dessert for me. The food and service were outstanding! I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it turned out to be the best place we have eaten in newfoundland during 4 weeks. eating was delicious and cheap for what they received. it is fine eating so it has been correspondingly priced. reservations are also recommended. in any case would and have other friends advised about this search.

We found this delightful eatery in a small Inn at the end of the road! A couple of signs piqued our interest, and we went looking. And what a find. We were early, had no reservations, but were able to secure beverages and an invitation...to come back for dinner at 5 which we did after watching eagles and terns over the water from the deck and sunroom. A light fare of chowder and soup, and a serving of salt encrusted cod made for a perfect ending for a wondrous day ogling the sights of Gros Morne. Thanks!!! Pat Cindi
