Normandy Park Ale House

Nice place for bar food. Good choices on the menu. They were busy but did their best to keep up. Food arrived fast.

Great service, food was good and drinks were good. We came here for a mid day lunch and a few cocktails and were very happy with the service, attentiveness and food. We had a black and blue burger and a steak salad. Both cooked well and would order both of them again. Drinks were good and the bartender was friendly, attentive and quick. Would highly recommend if in the area or want to check out a new local spot.

We visited the restaurant tonight and ordered a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, but it didn't specify all the ingredients. Unfortunately, my 14-year-old wasn’t a fan of the pickled onions or the 14 pickles that were on it. Our server was kind enough to give us a discount on that one. As for the Mac and Cheese, it was quite disappointing; it lacked any flavor and was very bland. The pretzels we ordered were also tasteless, and the cheese sauce was runny and unappetizing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, and we won't be coming back.

Holy cow, I have never seen this in all my life. We show up at this place just after they open. The glasses had streaks and lip marks on them as if not washed from the night before. The waitress/bartender, I seriously watched grab a pitcher of another used table bring it to the bar, not wash it, fill it with ice and water and bring it to our table for us to use. The food was decent but the service was insane. She forgot to take one of our party member order to which the member had to walk up to the bar to give her the order. The steaks order were medium and medium rare, they came out well done and medium well. My grilled chicken was tasty and well cooked. It should have been a clue before we order that the establishment had a King County ok restaurant rating. We will most likely not be going back.

I feel guilty when restaurants are short staffed. It makes me feel like helping them. Food is good, staff is great, and it's a comfortable environment. However, I took my family twice this week, and the music was blaring because there was a party on the patio. I love loud music, but not when it is distorted. Only reason I gave 4 stars.
