Bidrage med feedbackVery overrated. My hibachi meal was lukewarm, and the sushi was warm and had an unpleasant taste reminiscent of lake water. It felt more like fast food hibachi, at best. The shrimp had a freezer-burnt flavor...
The sushi at this restaurant was absolutely divine! The service was prompt and very hospitable, with the staff going out of their way to make sure our visit was as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with outstanding service.
I usually visit the Volcano Sushi in Moore. This was my first visit to this one. They have a nice selection of rolls and the sushi is fresh and prepared well. The service is always exemplary at the Moore location and this one was the same.
I expressed to him that his comment was both disrespectful and inappropriate, but he merely shrugged in response. I have frequented this restaurant for years and have never encountered such overt racism until now. It’s truly disappointing. Just to clarify, I always tip generously, but the way Mark handled the situation has left a bad taste in my mouth. Zero stars for service.
Everything was fantastic! The only unusual moment came from my group. It all started when my wife decided to deconstruct the beautifully crafted veggie rolls she had ordered. She started pulling them apart with her salad fork like a caveman with a slinky—not the cool metal kind, but the cheap rainbow plastic ones that get all twisted and tangled like five minutes after you take them out of your Easter basket. After my wife’s rather eye-opening performance as an amateur food surgeon left the courteous staff looking somewhat bewildered, my teenage daughter took it up a notch by sharing her thoughts on the World War II movie she had watched the night before. (Sushi and WWII movie discussions, can you imagine?) On the bright side, the bathroom was very clean, and the ambiance was warm and inviting.
