Shilla Korean Bbq - Norman

We hadn't eaten at a traditional Korean BBQ restaurant before. Really delicious! And a fun experience with the kids getting to grill your own food right at the table. Not sure if cooking it yourself is for you? No worries, the staff was super friendly and helped us with cooking too. Will be coming back again for sure!

Excellent food, well staffed, attentive and helpful waitress. Cooking the food ourselves was really fun! The bulgogi and beef brisket were fantastic! We also really enjoyed the Korean pancake. The squid and octopus were fun to cook, but the octopus was probably our least favorite. The place was very clean as well! Definitely plan to go back again.

Guys, it's a Korean BBQ. Cooking for yourself is part of the experience. The price is comparable to similar restaurants in other cities. The service was good when we were there. I guess it depends on who you get. I feel like they got the message and are working on the service. The food is good. Some of the meats don't have seasoning but we saw the other reviews and brought our own.

First, Korean BBQ is normally a cook your own at the table. That being said, I was not disappointed at all. They bring you the meats you choose, you cook them and eat them and then you order more! This was the most authentic Korean I have had in a very long time. After living in Korea for years, I am very picky about my Korean and this was wonderful!

I had a really good time here. I got a couple of looks for coming in on my own but don't let that stop you! The squid is bomb, the pork belly is yummy but not the best I'v ever had, and the N Y steak is a giant disappointment. Next time I come I'll be trying to season it myself with salt and pepper because it is blander then oatmeal. The service is alright. I will say that the poor girl who was serving me needed more training on how to cut the meat in a timely manner hey she was there for almost 10 minutes. But all and all it was a great time. Lunch is 12.99$ per person and dinner is 22.00$ per person. Good place.
