The food is outstanding! Best food we ate in Norway! The beer is great and it's a lovely atmosphere. Make sure to try the mead and the honey cake.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we are glad it did. We had the beetroot soup and the deer casserole and it was really tasty. The prices were reasonable for Norway I guess for us as Germans it was quite pricey.

Lovely little restaurant. Food was great we had fish pie and deer casserole. Staff were very friendly and happy to answer our questions.

After reading reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to book dinner here during a recent trip to bergen, and it's a little gem. I had lapskaus starter, followed by meatballs for main course, my wife had the onion soup starter, and the plukkfish for mains. All the food was hearty and clearly home cooked, and was delicious, I was very surprised as my wife is very fussy about eating soup nad fish but she chose them both for dinner and cleaned her plates. really nice atmosphere here, a lovely neighbourhood type place, the dining room is like being in someone's living room, the food and the service was excellent. we returned just for a drink a couple of days later and found the same chilled vibe. Heartily recommended and would definitely return if we go back to Bergen. Loved it.
