Vegan Planet Cafe - Norfolk

This restaurant offers excellent vegan cuisine! The Philly Cheeze Steak was incredibly delicious, and the curry slaw was just as impressive. They also whip up some fantastic and healthy shakes! The ambiance is laid-back and inviting, with a strong focus on supporting local ingredients and high-quality dishes.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere! This hidden gem had everything I could have wished for. I initially visited for some delicious vegan food, but ended up leaving with a bean pie, bladderwrack capsules, and sea moss. I was even tempted to buy several books and crystals! I spent nearly $100, but it was definitely worth every penny. My mom picked up some black seed oil and an arthritis bracelet. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I was thrilled to meet someone who was also from the Bronx, NY, just like me. I cherish my culture; we truly are kings and queens. We need more places like this! I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town from NYC.

The homemade vegan food here is absolutely delicious! The chef is an expert and incredibly friendly, and they're more than willing to accommodate any ingredient preferences you may have. It's such a refreshing option, especially since there aren't many vegan restaurants in Virginia. I highly recommend checking it out. I truly hope they expand because if this place were in my neighborhood, I would visit all the time!

We vacation at VA Beach and came across this Cafe. We ordered the vegan chicken sandwiches and came back for more the next day, lol. The Chef was really friendly and welcoming. If ever in this area please try it.

This was the best food we had during our two-week road trip! The Philly Cheese Sub, which is actually a wrap with mushrooms, was absolutely incredible. I found myself saying "mmm, wow, this is so good" with every bite. It's reminiscent of the Cajun Mushroom Pita. The side dish, Rasta Shmack, was delicious too—it reminded me of mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich, made with oyster mushrooms, was fantastic as well, served on a pretzel bun with great pickles. The only downside was that it was served in Styrofoam. Overall, the food definitely deserves more than five stars!
