This place is an incredible brunch spot! $2 mimosas! WHAT! You can?t find those anywhere in Hampton Roads these days. The food was incredible! My boyfriend had the chicken biscuit which was fried perfectly and topped with their house made gravy served on a homemade biscuit. He also tried a side of their pancakes, which may I add were the fluffiest pancakes I?ve had in a long time! I enjoyed the seafood omelette that was full of crab meat and shrimp. The price was a steal,
The service is great, a cool location, but the food is so mediocre. The calamari was over cooked and tough. The flounder BLT has no sauce and was bland. It just needed some salt and pepper and it would have been better, but no seasoning and no remolaude and waitress took too long to come back to get some. The Seafood Mac was ok, super runny, but better on the flavor. It was like they put noodles in she crab soup and added heavy cream. Overall not great, but the view was
Absolutely amazing food. Really really not great waitress. We waited 5 minutes for her to return with the ketchup and she didn't have the tartar which came another five minutes later. Fish sandwich was mostly cold by then.... Came back way quicker with and for the check though. Avoid peach shirt waiter/waitress when possible. Seeing lots more of the blue shirts. Again fantastic food that was worth the wait- just not the wait for the sauces.
Just had a terrific dinner here with wife. First time. They were busy. Took bar seats. Service was very good. The pan seared scallops were off the hook, perfection. Fresh, tasty and melt in your mouth. The swordfish was excellent. The flounder was good. Atmosphere was upbeat and enjoyable. Definitely recommend, and will return to try more menu options. Returned for a follow up. HAD to have the pan seared scallops again. They were delicious, again! This time we enjoyed
