Salmich's Burgers Hoagies - Norfolk

So... You want classic comfort food, this is your place. The food is shockingly good. I ordered the JV-Burger, a half-Chorizo-Burger. With cheese, mustard and onions it is a favor. The freshly cut pumice and airy, crisp onion rings were show stools. Make yourself a favor and try this place!

Visited with a family friend for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely delicious! The frits were incredibly crispy and seemed to be cut in the house, the steak on the sandwiches was well seasoned, and the heat level on the Buffalo Steak Sandwich was right on the tracks. Overall, I recommend this facility and will return to try out some more items from the menu.

Less than 25 hours ago, my husband and I agreed to try some of the Salmich Burgers Hoagies in Norfolk Virginia. My husband chose the roast beef, which comes with roast beef salad tomatoes onion and Mayo with Cheddar cheese. I chose The Rusty Sandwich, the ham turkey roast beef pepper jacket cheese salad tomatoes onion oil and vinegar included. I decided to order and pick up the sandwiches and I got them in time. Both my husband and I liked our sandwiches and I even have a few of the left Rusty sandwich to finish snacking at some point today (the sandwiches my husband and I were selected were bigger than expected in a positive way).

The fries are fresh cut and fried. So freaking good. And they also give you so much of them. Two people can easily share a large order. I got the Westsider burger last time I went and it was one of the most unique and intense burgers that I have ever had. I have also had the PBJ burger which was the first time I had peanut butter on a burger and I really enjoyed it. They put a really nice tasting Peanut butter on it that works so well with the rest of the burger.

Simply delicious with everything cooked to order. Very friendly staff that made me feel very welcome. They seem to know the regulars, which always adds to the atmosphere. Huge portions so bring a huge appetite!
