Royal Garden Chinese - Norfolk

We had an amazing culinary experience during our recent vacation in Norfolk, VA! I wish they offered plain cheese wontons, as very few Chinese restaurants have them without the crab rangoon or imitation crab meat. On the plus side, almost all dishes were available with or without meat, making it easy to find vegetarian options.

The prices are excellent, and the food is fresh and served hot! The staff is very nice and friendly.

My parents used to have dinner dates at this restaurant. The proprietor Mei has literally known me since I was a baby and still remembers me. The service is always impeccable and wholesome. The food is tasty. Located right across from Ocean View beach, this is the perfect sit down spot after a long day in the water!

Excellent Chinese food. Nice quiet! Atmosphere and friendly staff.

I just returned to the area, and this place is still fantastic!
