Maya - Norfolk

This restaurant lacks professionalism. The rice was undercooked, and I brought this to the owner's attention not once, but three times. Instead of addressing my concerns, she argued with me and then hung up the phone. I was disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment.

The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and had a wonderful atmosphere.

This was my first visit to Norfolk, and we decided to try this lovely little restaurant on our first night. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding. I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!

I wish I could have experienced the food! My husband and I visited on a random Tuesday night and found the restaurant nearly empty. The hostess seemed more focused on her phone than on welcoming us. When we finally got her attention, she told us we could sit anywhere we liked. We chose a table, but no one came by to provide us with a menu or take our drink orders. After waiting about 15 minutes without any service, we decided to leave. As we walked out, the hostess rolled her eyes and laughed. I've read numerous complaints about the service, and after this experience, we definitely won't be coming back.

This is the best horchata I've had since arriving in California! The food is absolutely delicious! This is what it means to drive by a place, make a U-turn, and discover an epic hidden gem. Everything on the menu is made to order and handcrafted, including the tortillas.
