Kappo Nara Ramen - Norfolk

This place was amazing! Authentic just like Japan. I felt like I was back in Japan from the taste to the atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

Less than 40 hours ago at the time of this writing, my husband and I mutually agreed to try some food from Kappo Nara Ramen (located in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk Virginia). My husband selected the Katsu Curry dish that comes with pork and rice while I chose to have the Kuro Black Tonkotsu ramen (that comes with tonkotsu base pork broth egg bambo fishcakes red ginger ki-kurage chashu pork shredded scallions nori. My hubby and I both liked our food and had obtained

Noodles were perfect ???? same with everything else except fish cake I've had much fresher) the woman working the floor she literally did everything but cook) was amazing she even remembers frequent customers ????

Everything was good here. I had ramen and it was good. the family had different other entrees and everyone really enjoyed their food. if I am in the opposite and mood for ramen or this style of food, I will probably return.

Kappa Nara Ramen was a very authentic Japanese cuisine experience. We tried the edamame, gyoza, salmon onigiri, tonkatsu Ramen and ended the meal with mango mochi.
