Balthasar - Nordrhein-Westfalen

It isn't Balthasar anymore. I forget the new name because I didń't visit. Well, it was closed at the time.

I love here because of excellent service, delicious food and location. You can enjoy your beer while watching street. I strongly suggest pasta with tomato sauce

We found the Balthasar by accident on our first night in the city and enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere so much we returned again the next night. Extensive menu, the veal Schnitzels are massive, and my husband tried the lasagna second night large enough for two. If your like me try the warm feta cheese and lambs lettuce salad, again large portion but tastes great. Staff are friendly, your not rushed and the place has a buzz about it. So give Balthasar a try you will want to return

I went there for late breakfast on a Monday morning. It was fairly quiet to begin with but it started filling up with people having lunch and the atmosphere became more lively. I ordered farmers omlette and it was amazing, tasted very much like homemade food. The selection of teas was really good, not many places offer lovely roibos... When it came to making decision where to eat the morning after, I didn't take much time to think and went back for another tasty omlette and a cup of roibos.

Good quality food, reasonable choice and not badly priced. Also very accommodating to a group of lads. Not fantastic but you won't go far wrong.
