When our food arrived, the portions were generous and looked delicious. My friend requested to have the TV switched to a football game, but it seemed the waitress was preoccupied with watching it herself. There were only the three of us in the restaurant, with a few people outside. The waitress tossed the TV remote onto our table and walked away, completely ignoring us afterward. This made my friend quite unhappy. Eventually, when she returned, my friend confronted her, and their exchange became quite heated. He decided to speak with the owner, who turned out to be the manager. He wanted to remove the BLT he had ordered from the bill because of her rudeness, which he hadn't even touched. The owner said she would discuss the situation with the waitress and ended up taking the BLT off our bill. After my friend's wife and I finished our meals, we still hadn't received our bill. When I walked to the counter, the manager was pouring a pitcher of beer. As soon as she saw me, she stopped pouring, tossed the pitcher aside, told the other bartender she needed some time, and went into the back. I hadn't said anything to her, and the bartender seemed confused about what was happening. It took a while for him to find our ticket so I could pay. Earlier, when I visited the bathroom, I was hit by a terrible odor. The floor was littered with toilet paper and paper towels, and the toilet itself was in a disgusting state. The faucet was loose, making it difficult to use. As I returned to our table, I noticed bits of food and paper scattered on the floor around the tables, extending all the way to ours. Although there was a screened window open, a few large flies kept buzzing around our food, and we had to swat them away. Before our food arrived, my friend tried to order a beer from the bar, but the manager completely ignored him and went into the back. Her rudeness tainted our entire experience. We definitely won't be returning.

When I presented my permit, I received my complimentary 40oz drink! My breakfast was delicious, and the pie was fantastic. The shower was pleasantly hot, and having the option to do laundry was very convenient.

Fantastic experience! My 10 and 13-year-olds had only snowboarded one weekend prior, and Donner was the perfect next step for them! The pricing was fair, the area was small enough for me to easily spot them as they came down the slopes, and the food was pretty good (definitely kid-friendly options like grilled cheese, fries, and corn dogs). We ended up going two days in a row, and there was plenty to keep them engaged and entertained!
