Jamocca Cafe - NORANDA

We tried this café for dinner in our local shopping center for the first time. We ordered bruschetta and chicken scallopini Marsala. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was friendly. We will definitely be returning.

I had breakfast with a group of friends in the morning at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the coffee was cold and the food was also served cold. I specifically asked for no toast due to gluten allergies, but it was still brought to me. They scraped my food off the toast and brought it out again. One of my friends found a hair in her cold dish, which was very unpleasant. When we brought it to the attention of the staff, they were rude and unfriendly. The response we received was not apologetic, with one waiter simply asking if we still wanted the dish with the hair in it and then taking it away without any further communication. While finding a hair in the food may not be the end of the world, the lack of apology and poor service made the experience even worse. Overall, the meal was average and the service was appalling. We definitely will not be returning to this restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant several times and will definitely be back. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, the service is good, the coffee is great, and the wine is very drinkable. This cafe may not be fine dining, but the food is tasty and they have a loyal customer base.
