Uitkyk Wine Estate - Noorder-Paarl

This place is perfect—a charming, authentic historical spot where you can savor excellent wine and delicious food. I stumbled upon it by chance, but I’ve never regretted it. It turned out to be a fantastic experience that lasted most of the afternoon.

That was our favorite wine during our trip to South Africa. Initially, we enjoyed a bottle at Waterfront, where we asked for a recommendation for a good local wine, and they served us just what we were looking for. We loved it so much that about a week later, we decided to visit the winery where it was produced. The staff here was friendly and knowledgeable.

The picnic setup is fantastic, and the picnic baskets are delightful, complete with excellent wine selections to sample. The Chardonnay is enjoyable, but the Chenin Blanc offers an intriguing challenge. The baskets feature a wonderful variety of items, including a selection of delicious cheeses and fine meats. However, I can't give a perfect score because our basket was missing a few advertised items, which was a bit disappointing.

Offers large tasting, picnic area and brandy and wine tasting. friendly staff, great mood. I'm back.
