Bidrage med feedbackVery disappointing. we've been coming for 20 years, and this is by far the worst food we've ever had. my 5 years old pasta and meatballs was grounded, how is it possible at all?! obviously came the sauce from the bottom of the pan and was burned on the floor. when we asked to do it again, the waiter said 6 minutes max. 25 minutes later when we were ready to go pasta came out. my father and I had both the orecchiette with broccoli rave and a sausage (a meal that we had several times in the past) the breed was extremely bitter, as if it was simply not cooked long enough, and therefore the whole plate would have a bitter taste (our family is Italian, we know that the breed could be bitter, but if it was cooked properly). bee was deported by the dough when you picked up a piece. really regrettable, as this has been one of our “go to” restaurants for years, and in the rule we would visit the island again next week.
My parents love this restaurant so we tried it. Food was very bland and very expensive. Not worth it at all for the cost. Service was also horribly slow and it wasn’t even very busy. Won’t be returning
Swung by tonight to try the pizza. Last time we were there, the food looked good and we saw the brick oven for the pizza. My wife liked her 4 cheese pizza and I enjoyed my veggie pizza. Luckily for me, standing near our server was one of the other servers who heard me order the veggie pizza. He told me that it doesn't come with cheese, and asked if I wanted cheese on the pizza, which of course, I did. Both pizzas were individual size 10 pizzas and were tasty. They did charge for the cheese which I expected) and I noticed on the menu that they charge for grated parm. Really???? In an Italian restaurant they charge for grated parm? Anyway, no biggie since the food was good. The service, as in the past, not so much. First, they auctioned off the food which I would not expect in a fine dining restaurant. Our server checked back once during our meal; right after they brought the pizzas and we were separating the slices. My wife wanted a cannoli, which was also good. Prices are par for the course for a fine dining restaurant $20 for a 10 pizza) but the service was nowhere near what it should be. They do add a 15% service charge, and as in the past, didn't add to it because they didn't deserve it; unlike one of our favorite restaurants where they do add a service charge and we do add to it. So go for the food and sitting in a nice outdoor courtyard and not the service.

Waited over 40 minutes for a reservation and finally flagged down the manager who seated us. After that people were very gracious and the food was very good but a little frustrating not to have anybody managing the wait.
