Sardarji Da Dhaba - Nongpoh

An eatery of its own class in Shillong-Guwahati road just few kilometers away from Nongpoh. The place was hit during pandemic and was closed for a while. However, it has come up again in flying colours and fully functional now. An unique place where one can get delicious Panjabi dishes, which is a bit rare in the entire stretch of GS Road. It also has the ready to eat sweet items. This is located just by the national highway with spacious parking facilities. The food quality is very good with prompt service and hygenic.

A roadside dhaba on the Shillong-Guwahati highway. Large parking space, handwash area with liquid soap available. The food was very tasty and was served in good time. The plates came with a small katori of excellent halwa served on the house. We had roti, butter chicken and yellow dal. The food was well cooked, very tasty and fresh. The chicken was exceptionally juicy and tasty. Overall a neat and clean place for having good food. The only blip was that the toilets could have been less smelly and cleaner.

No doubt, the food was amazing. We ordered for tandoori rotis, plain steamed rice, chicken bharta and Dal fry. It was delicious and served hot. Special halwa was served, which I loved the most. Yet, the serving time is long. They took around 30minutes to serve the food and the staffs are ignorant. Should have a better hospitality management. The place is well sanitized with indoor and outdoor seating.

Recently visited SARDARJI Da Dhaba near Nongpoh, Meghalaya, Good food, Clean, Good staffs. Tested Aloo Paratha and Tea.

On the Guwahati Shillong Highway Route, Gud for early morning breakfast! Had Chole Bhature (Rs 100) it was gud. There is a washroom also which is helpful in journey! The roadside view is amazing there!
