Noi Brendan's - Nong Khai

Came here on the basis of reviews and was not disappointed. we were in the mood for some western feeds and so went with the cattleburger. only complained that the burger was a bit dry, but taste was good. beautiful location on the mekong river walkway, but with a front on the road.

Pleasant watering hole overlooking the river. Adjacent Saturday market makes it more special..... Remember they close on Mondays....

This is my go-to place for Western food in Nong Khai. It's an easy walk from the guesthouse we stay at and the food has always been good. And while no meat options are doable, they are few and far between, so minus one star.

Good food coocked by The Lady of the House named Noi. On the menu there is enough to make anyone Happy, good Masched with wonderful Cumberland saugage, Chili Con Carne, Hamburger Fries, a lot of other choices and Thai disches as well of course. Always service with a smile here. Good pooltable, Flatscreen with sports all day long, cold beer...Just Great. If in Nongkhai than Noi Breandans is worth your visit for sure.

For it to be a Thai Western food restaurant, there is definitely a language barrier. That wasn’t the issue more so than them being out of a lot of items?! They didn’t have many of the items listed on their menu (e.g., juices food). I wanted to try “Mama’s Fried Chicken” and they gave me pad thai instead? When I inquired again, I thought the waitress understood but she just gave me another order of pad thai. When trying to communicate, overcommunicate/throw up hand signs/show web pictures of fried chicken, another waitress THEN informed me they didn’t have it. Oh well.
