Bidrage med feedbackIt is about the 10th restaurant we test on the island of blackmail with my companion during our holidays. I'd say the castel is one of the top five. the situation close to the castle is privileged. the room is pleasant and the seats are comfortable. The welcome is quite nice. a very small false note about the service because the entrance arrived while we had not finished the aperitif. otherwise waitresses and the bosses are kind and smiling. details on each dishes are given and it is often "homemade", which is very appreciable. I was a little disappointed by reading a comment from another client on the fact that the fish served is not from the local fishery. It's a shame! if not for the dishes, they are beautifully presented, copied and excellent. I recommend this restaurant.
Is it because the holiday is coming to an end? Was it because the tripadvisor comments were really very encouraging? who knows. always is it that we remain on our hunger. two children's menus, two adult menus. nothing to say for the children, except for the steaks requested bleeding were served well cooked. In the case of adults, the marinated salmon carpaccio is actually a smoked salmon plate, typical of that sold in supermarket, the accompaniment of one of the dishes is not consistent with the order. foods are generally of good quality and service is correct. but from there to find most of this excellent or very good restaurant, there is one step, that I will definitely not cross
We made a very good choice to book in this restaurant on Friday 11/08/17All was perfect: welcome ,servants very friendly, attentive and delicious cuisine we enjoyed the cocktails in particular " castel , tapas ,poissons (daurade et st jacques ) accompanied by delicious sauces , risotto and wok of vegetables and dessertsmon nice brother, very gourmet desserts has regaled
A very good address, the dishes of the day ( grilled sardines, wing of raie) are tasty, the dessert farandole homemade svp. standard breweries do not hold the comparison. efficient and friendly service for a dish dish to loose 15eu.
We chose the menus at 29 and 36€, both with input/plat/dessert. all dishes were very rich and tasteful. cook the perfect jacques and duck magret. tested desserts have also been very appreciated (broche way bread lost melting and chocolate cake). Classical and warm frame. efficient service.
