El Txoko - Noia

We were driving through Galicia and stopped in Noia for lunch. We were a little worried because all of the reviews dated back to a year or more. Until we found El Txoko. Not only did they have recent reviews, they were all in Spanish. We were not disappointed. The place was filled with locals when we arrived. However, here’s a warning: they don’t speak English nor do they have an English menu so if you don’t speak Spanish, open up Google Translate. Trust me, it will be worth it, especially if you like seafood. We had the boquerones and the anchoa with a basket of bread. Yes, both are anchovies but they were prepared two different ways. Very, very delicious and service was fast by European standards. Off the beaten path but well worth it.

Una agradable sorpresa en un pueblo pequeño. La comida es deliciosa, el servicio es amable y los precios son buenos. ¡Sin duda volveré!

Hola, hoy fuimos a almorzar un menú del día con 4 opciones de primer plato, 4 opciones de segundo plato, bebida y postre o café incluidos. Los platos se merecen un 10 a la vista, pero en cuanto al sabor, no me queda más opción que darles un 15 porque estaban deliciosos. ¡Felicidades por el excelente trabajo! Sin duda volveremos, además el restaurante es pequeño pero muy acogedor.
