Pancho's Tex Mex

Went here for Sunday lunch before camping at Springbrook for a couple of nights. It was quiet, friendly service and good food. Try the margharitas!

We visit the Gold Coast about three times a year (from Melbourne) and have dinner at Pancho's every time. Food is delicious and really cheap especially for Mexican. Margaritas are good and usual drink prices. Service is good. Decor and atmosphere is really nice. Cash only.

Above average. The atmosphere at this place is fantastic, I've been going to Panchos on and off for the last 8 years. I used to live in mudgeeraba and would frequent this place at least once a week. The staff are always nice and offer superb service. I'm originally from California and panchos is a good representation of Mexican food and what I am use too. Danny the owner could use some customer service training, I called to make a reservation recently and he was quiet rude on the phone. I don't personally know him but I've had a love hate relationship with him since the first time I went there. A few years ago I tried to place a take away order with danny only to be told no takeaways tonight and then was hung up on. If you like good food and a great atmosphere then definitely try this place out!<br/ <br/ 2 things to watch out for 1. Cash only 2. The menus says chicken and fish bones may be included in the meals. I had a friend who is a chef I took there once and he couldn't get over the fact he got a chicken bone in his meal..7.5/10

I've been going to this restaurant since I was born, so 23 years, and its still as good as ever. It's an icon in Mudgeereaba and I hope it lives on forever! The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. You cant forget the sangria and margaritas which are both strong (typical Mexican and cheap (bonus! . This place is a nice change for anyone thats sick of paying for overprices tapas and leaving hungry. Perfect for a night out with a big group of people or date night for something a bit different.
