Historic Rivermill

This place is amazing makes me want to move up here Gold Coast. Came all the way from Sydney, brought some theme park tickets, but kids and adults enjoy Historic Rivermill over Movie World and time. Enjoy the museum, having fun feeding the animals, running around trying to catch the chickens and the best feeding the turtles. Where can I find some turtles in Sydney other than Taronga Zoo. You even get to enjoy beautiful food and the best services and great price too. I would love to get a tent out there and stay for a month. Will be coming back the next couple of days, before going home. This place will be my must visit whenever we come to Qld. Highly recommended for everyone.

Took the family here for breakfast this morning and it was fantastic! Such fresh, delicious food and it came quick too. Coffee was average but service was friendly. Loved sitting in the sun down by the creek after we ate. Farm animals were all very sweet. Highly recommend

We had such fun here today! Our 2 kids (7,11) loved it! Coffee, cake and scones was a hit with everyone! Such beautiful scenery, a great day out for families

Chanced upon this when we were looking for a rest stop. There's a small playground and some animals... you can get free turtle or alpaca feed from the super friendly staff at the counter. There's a small museum. They are also big on supporting local and no outside food. Coffee was okay. Milk was oversteamed, it was way too hot. Beans were overextracted and tasted very burnt. Limited options on the menu. Saw a number of people having scones and chips. The loaded fries didn't look loaded enough. Bacon on it didn't look crispy. So we went for the normal chips. It was a large bowl for 9.50. Wish the menu was a little bigger. It's a nice place to hang if you're tired from all the wine tasting.

Lovely place to visit with a river full of friendly turtles you can feed. They have alpacas, deer, a pig chickens you can pat for free. You’re able to buy alpaca turtle feed. They have pony rides on Saturdays. This place is great for adults or families. Restaurant has a huge seating area. Staff are helpful friendly.
