Bidrage med feedbackI walked in to see a sign that they would add 20 gratuity upfront. Plus not known until the bill that they also charge an extra for using credit. I hope that management practices what they preach by tipping everywhere they eat 20 regardless of service. The waitress promised great service and McDonald's beat her. She never checked on our drinks and the food prices didn't match the quality of the food. If your sides are near the price of Captain George. You should use quality ingredients. The fries were microwave tasting. I don't believe people should expect people to be happy with the pricey food and forced tip and fees. The atmosphere was good. This could be promising if the food matched pricing fees and forced tips.
It was our first time eating there and the food and music was delightful. the only thing i do NOT like is that i have to give my bank card to waitress which is very rare as most places i go to have a machine they bring in front so we can actually hold our own card and insert ourselves. The waitress she was kind of not smiley seem frustrated hope she has a better day next time. It will not stop us from coming back.
I’ve been here before and the food is great and our server was great which is why I thought it was a good idea to have my daughter’s baby shower here for a party of 30+ people . I’ve called twice to inquire about making a reservation .. the first time I got good information but didn’t reserve .The second time I called about 45 minutes ago) I experienced the same thing I did when I called in a to-go order one time before .. except this time was more rude .Both persons who answered the phone put me on hold for way too long and let me hear all this noise in the background and took too long to come back to the phone . This time I said “can I speak to the manager? “ I didn’t even get a chance to say why I was calling to reserve a large party) and the person puts the phone down without saying “hold on” or “just a Moment”, “BET” … “okay “ or nothing and just leaves me on “hold” to listen to all that noise in the background. They need some customer service phone etiquette training .It should not be this hard to give y’all our money . Customer service matters .. Do better . Again .. to be fair .. The food is excellent .. nice atmosphere and the server we had that one time was great .. but I’m not taking a chance on inconsistent customer service for my daughter’s baby shower. We’ll go somewhere else . Customer service MATTERS.
This is some of the best food I’ve ever had, period. You know the place is special when the food halts the talking like a window halts a pigeon. I got fried catfish and shrimp over mac and cheese and only stopped eating when I physically couldn’t continue. The wait staff, prices, and music were also phenomenal this is a place run by people who know what they’re doing, and care. Long live the Boss Queen.
Our women’s group of about 11 had just left a play, and we called ahead on a Saturday night, and they were able to accommodate us. They had a live band that night, so it was real chill. About a 30 min wait for food, but between listening to the band and watching the tvs on the wall, I barely noticed. It was worth the wait tho. I got the fried pork chops smothered with gravy, with Mac and cheese and potato salad. The pork chop was expertly seasoned, thick and juicy. The gravy was great too. I had no complaints about the sides. The customer service was A1!
