Northwoods Pub - Nisswa

Had a great time here out on their brand new deck the view is stunning and the renovations were well done. Had lunch with coworkers and our server Quinn was very sweet and attentive. Service was prompt and timed well we got our food soon after our appetizers were finished. Food was delicious, especially the Paul Bunyan burger and chicken mushroom sandwich. I left an important card on the table when we left, and Quinn saved it and ran it out to me in the parking lot. Sonice! Would be happy to come back any time.

Beautiful resort, closet to town but you wouldn't know it. Food was excellent and the loon lodge was a blast!

Tucked away in the basement, this bar on the Grand View Lodge campus offers a truly unique experience. It features a distinctive bar menu that sets it apart from other bars on the property. While it may be a bit challenging to locate, the excellent service and delicious food make it worth the effort. The bar has a complete selection of drinks, with skilled bartenders crafting fantastic cocktails, and a good variety of beers on tap.

Maddy is an absolute gem! She works as a bartender and server at the pub, and she crafts an incredible spicy **** Mary (spicy on request). It was simply delicious! To be completely honest, it was so good that we visited two days in a row during our vacation. Maddy even recalled our unusual beer chaser preferences from the day before. She’s a delightful presence. Thank you, Maddy!

The food was decent. I dined there twice and found the burger to be rather average, especially for a resort that promotes itself as offering exceptional experiences. The service was quite good—not flawless, but given the challenges of the pandemic, I can accept a few imperfections. It's been a tough year for restaurants, and they are still navigating through difficult circumstances.
