I got the chicken herb special! And it was phenomenal! Every time I come here the staff is so friendly and the food is to die for! Highly recommend!

My companion and I had the pleasure of visiting Grand View Lodge for the first time this past weekend, and it was an outstanding experience. We capped off our visit with dinner at CHAR, and it didn't disappoint! The meal was remarkable, starting with a delicious crab dip appetizer and finishing with a delightful blueberry pie. I ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, along with a baked potato and asparagus that were equally well prepared. Although I didn’t find a wine that suited my taste on the list, the manager kindly searched for and brought us an excellent Chilean Cabernet that paired beautifully with the meal. Both the hostess and our waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening.

This has become my favorite restaurant in Grand Valley. The menu is incredible, and they have the best prime rib I've ever tasted! The staff at Grand Valley is always excellent too!

We’ve dined here for the past two weeks, and the food has been outstanding, along with the attentive wait staff. We highly recommend this restaurant!

You can't go wrong with the classic walleye dish served with wild rice.
