Brasserie Le Palace Ferme - Nîmes

We were a little late for lunch so the menu of the day was finished which was fine. We ordered our food. My partner's Caesar salad was good, my daughter's burger was good but some of the chips weren't cooked. The reason for only two stars is that this restaurant now has the accolade of serving me the worst lasagne I have ever had. It was literally pasta sheets and dry, very dry mincemeat. There was no sauce and no Ragu not a tomato in sight.

The waitress had no clue about Gluten Free. My pork was undercooked and pink. My partner sent his food back as it was too undercooked, to their credit they made him a new meal. My friend only ate a third of his food as he said it was tasteless. Overall I’d say avoid.

Though this brasserie is not a top tourist attraction, the service is quite good as well as the food. We stopped here after a long train ride and found the tree-shaded sidewalk tables to be a good place to gather our strength before going toe the roman arena a block away. The food is good and the bruschetta are huge.

Nice location in the city center, which explains the prices. However, the reception was not satisfactory. Several products were missing on the map.
