My companion and I made a reservation for two at the restaurant. We were seated in a dim, cramped hallway that connected two rooms, with a view of a refrigerator. The stools we sat on had no backs and were very uncomfortable. There were no windows, just a view of a painted wall. The waitress, who was pleasant, mentioned that the owner wanted to rearrange the space. The food was disappointing - the stack was poorly cooked and served on a cold plate, indicating that the cook didn't want to heat it up despite the waitress's regular reminders. They also forgot to bring me my potatoes. The burnt cream dessert was the only highlight.
As a family, we spent a very good time enjoying inventive cuisine, full of unexpected flavours. The cooking of the meat was simply perfect. Without being minimalist, we had what was needed in quantity with a quality service without being intrusive. Having spent a lot of facilities in Nivelles, this one is one of the best for us.
There is nothing quite like a limited menu with unlimited quality! Food lovers will truly appreciate the level of care taken in every aspect of this establishment. From the carefully selected wines to the attentive service, to the simple yet cozy setting, every detail enhances the dining experience. I was with friends and my mother was there yesterday. We had exactly the same feelings without having a concert. The card is very limited, the price is high (24 euros minimum for a dish, there is no flexibility on the part of the boss or server that is very cold (nothing can be asked very politely. Yet, a little salad with its tartar, where we just get meat without accompaniment, it's not too demanding I think. This point is sad because the boss would like to please the client, who doesn't feel at all here. The service is slow and not complete (we must even ask for wine with the dish, bread when there is more. As for the frame, it is not super hot and friendly for a couple for example, but with friends it is suitable. Finally, the positive point is that the dishes are very good. In conclusion, we are disappointed, but I think that if these points are taken into consideration, it would become a very good place! :
