Aniceto - Níjar

My wife and I just spent four days in San Jose, where we stayed at Santuario San Jose, the pleasant hotel where Restaurante Aniceto is located. Normally we avoid hotel restaurants, after lots of disappointing meals. But Aniceto looked very inviting and San Jose's other restaurants didn't seem all that appealing, so we decided to give it a try. What a surprise! Our two dinners there were delicious, the cooking inventive, the staff very friendly just a lovely dining experience. My wife is vegetarian and had the grilled vegetables both nights. She said it was the best she has ever tasted. I had cabrito with a honey glaze one night, duck breast with mushrooms and pineapple the other, both of them excellent. The chocolate and nut cake we shared for dessert was so divine we had it twice. Prices are on the high side, but excellent value for the quality of the food (quantity too portion sizes were very generous). I can't imagine there is a better dining choice in San Jose. In fact, it was the best food we had in our two weeks in Andalucia, including a restaurant in Granada everyone raves about. Go if you get the chance.

We had a very nice evening at the restaurant Ancieto. The food was delisious and also the ambience was very nice!

Beautiful quiet garden terrace just off the main street. Excellent food, wine and service. Perfect for a special occasion or a romantic dinner. The asparagus starter is particularly superb and the steaks are excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Un hotelito muy agradable, parece reformado muy reciente, limpieza muy buena, decoración acogedora, fuimos un grupo a finales de noviembre, nos atendieron muy bien en la cena, calidad precio buena relación, el desayuno de buffet variado, en recepción súper atentos, nos dejaron la habitación por la mañana más tiempo para entregar la llave a la salida

Muy amables y atentos. Han estado pendientes de cualquier cosa que les pedimos, almohadas, etc Las cenas y desayunos geniales, todo muy rico, abundantes y variadas. Para repetir y recomendable para familiares y amigos. Muchas gracias por todo.
