Bidrage med feedbackIn this restaurant in the city center of nienburg you will find very good German cuisine. we were now twice with a card game around this restaurant and the service and eating were really excellent. they taste the food they are made in any case themselves and they get really great portions for their money. the price-performance ratio is really top here. a small, but really very small, minus point I must forgive that the card is a little unclear. but in any case I go back to the restaurant.
We were at the Ratskeller for five tonight. I can only say; Price- performance ratio absolutely fine. Saving a bit too soft, but tastefully very good. Even the potatoes had taste, which is unfortunately increasingly rare. The Grauburgender matched the taste and the price. Waitress Sabrina was a little overwhelmed with us and the criticism about the soft asparagus, but did not try to get noticed. The soft asparagus would like the older regular customers the same, but if we say next time before, we would know al-dente good. ; Also the other dishes; Roulade, Rumpsteak and the ham to the asparagus absolutely ok. The host, Horst, who got away with us being an actor and having a guest game here, made it crash again. Snaps and beer With our tour through the Republic, this restaurant is one of the best to see everything together. If I come back to Nienburg, my first start address.
The historical council cellar does not meet its high demands. After we were happy to find an open restaurant on a Monday evening we were welcomed by the service very friendly. Unfortunately, the service was already the best part of the evening. We had chosen two of the higher-priced dishes with the councillor and the Weser Zander. After almost an hour of waiting, we were surprised with a meal that we had not expected. All dishes were very salty and the vegetables as the other supplements were from the freezer. The meat made a high quality impression, but it was lost in the rather very weak overall image. The fresh supplemental salad floats in a half-shell finishdressing on a remoulad basis whose large white packaging could have noticed us earlier when looking into the kitchen. Sometimes less is more and fresh preparation is nothing to replace.
It hurts me not to forgive more stars, as I heard a lot of good and also believe that you can eat well here. Therefore, in any case, the place gets a second chance and, if necessary, a corresponding increase in the stars. However, the court ordered on Saturday afternoon (mid-day offer for something under 7 euros) was simply not dolle. It was bovine breast with strong horseradish sauce with green beans and potatoes. The supplements were so la la, actually both too hard. But the bovine breast (three pieces) was arg fat, so not only on the edge (as I expected), but penetrates it. Only one of the three pieces was acceptable in this respect. The grater cakes with applemus of my accompaniment were all right (I tried myself), though no revelation, for this alone I would give three stars (Thaers in Celle, by the way, makes 4 5 star grater cake). But the other food is taking off the overall assessment, especially since I tasted the question of hat? my criticism of the operation (one was served by different ladies, the system behind it unfortunately escaped me) and then the operation without comment did not clear any reaction and a look like a car. Very strange! Well, maybe you're not accustomed to criticism, what could mean that it's okay? The black beer ordered for dinner was at least very good. But a beer doesn't matter
General: the nienburger ratskeller has a very long tradition. he has been in existence since 1526. this year the cellar right in nienburg was awarded. However, one assumes that the ratskeller can consider an even longer tradition. our visit was on one of these hot summer evenings, which is why we dispensed with the cellar and left us on a table on the market. about 80 guests found among us under the umbrellas and so we enjoyed the marketplace ambience with the stone-red city church st. martin in the background operation: the young service power made their job friendly and with a smile, despite the well visited gastronomy area. Unfortunately, however, she forgot twice to take care of the desired drink feed, probably because she did not always notice the order. that should not happen, it is part of their own service that eat: when we approached the open sea so slowly, we were told fish. more precisely, we chose today the king of hot in the form of the famous matjesfilets with apfel woebel saw sauce, speck bean and salt potatoes, and before that the muschel soupts with garnel. I still smile at this suppe. so a matched taste, slightly sour, hearty and exceptionally well seasoned, so the taste combination fischlye came to a very good gelling. I let the service give me a few tips for preparation and will try to cook this suppe soon. the matjesfilet was not a real manifestation. the fish good, but the well-known soße had much too little acid and pepp. as I had eaten 2 weeks before also matjes, this comparison fell very easy. Nevertheless, due to the tasty suppe of the perhaps unnoticed fourth star there is the environment: beautiful it area on the marketplace; simply chaired and friendly designed. ratskeller even rustic and very cozy cleanliness: everything looks neat and well maintained
