Chicken Salad Chick - Nicholasville

Walked in and was greeted by a friendly face. I was a little overwhelmed by the many different varieties of chicken salads and she explained each one. We ordered 2 different types and ate at home. Both were drowned in mayonnaise so after a few bites, we couldn’t finish. I thought it was ok and satisfied my craving but the rest of the family said no. Guess I’m going to have to make it myself.

Not up to par during our recent visit. The orders were incorrect, sandwiches were made poorly (croissant seemed stale, chicken salad was not spread evenly in the sandwich and the chicken salad ingredients were not chopped finely enough to fit in the sandwich). The portions also seemed smaller than previous visits. It is too bad, as we have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, and find excuses to be near this location at noontime so we can enjoy lunch.During this visit, the restaurant seemed slammed with takeout and catering orders, but that does not excuse their poor performance yesterday. They need to do better.

Food is always good. Order is usually accurate. But they are SO stingy if you ask for extra crackers. It’s very off-putting. I’ve offered to pay for them and they’re still super rude.When someone orders a scoop, not a sandwich, you should take that into account.(Today I asked for extra crackers twice and this is what I was given…fewer than usual.

The food here is delicious! I had the Fancy Nancy chicken salad on a croissant with a side of pasta salad. (Ordered as a meal with sandwich, side, pickle spear and cookie drinks are separate). Everything was flavorful and satisfying. It even came with a cookie! I would definitely order again if back in the areaFood: 5/5

I had the chicken salad BLT with the chicken salad on the side with fruit in it and a fruit cup and lemonade. It was all very good. I'm just not a big fan of chicken salad. I didn't know that's basically always sold there. But it is a great place for mother, daughter meetings and family gatherings. Very very friendly and like being in a house I guess you would say was separate rooms. Very friendly atmosphere.
