Lou Pistou - Nice

Seven of us had lunch in this small restaurant on the edge of the old town in Nice. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. – I liked the decor especially! We received a warm welcome from our waiter and the cook and were shown... the set menu and the a la carte. The restaurant is proud of its fresh products and specialties of the area of asparagus and strawberries were particularly good. We all enjoyed our selected dishes, but above all remarkable were the Artichoke salad, the Pissaladiere, boeuf en daube and the Brandade on the Gratin of the Leeks. The Panacotta with orange blossoms and Tarte tatin were also excellent. It was a nice lunch for our last day in Nice and we hope to return next time.

Nice evening with great food. Call, they're just about 25 for dinner. Menu change, so ingredients are always fresh. You can't really go wrong with any choice, but we had daube and asparagus risotto.

Beautiful, traditional restaurant. Great service and fantastic food. Went twice in one week as we loved it so much!

The restaurant prides itself on its fresh produce and specialities of the area the asparagus and strawberries were particularly good. We all enjoyed our chosen dishes but especially notable were the artichoke salad, the pissaladiere, boeuf en daube and the brandade on gratin of leeks. Chouette Establishment, people working inside are very pro and friendly. The menu price is hot. Everything was delicious. House and fresh. Thank you for this beautiful moment of discovering the cuisine nissarde. A treat
