Cafe Marche - Nice

Stopped in for lunch and had a great experience from start to finish. Warm, friendly and delicious food!

For those not keeping track of our grading history, we seldom give five stars to an establishment, but café Marche deserves top notch due to an outstanding quality to price ratio. Hope CM keeps up the good work in coming years! The only drawback is perhaps that it is hard to find recent info on opening hours etc.

I come to this cafe on a weekly basis! The menu changes daily! The food is always sourced locally from the market and is super delicious and fresh! They also have a wide range of tea and specialized infusions which are great! A must visit but alway book as it's just a lunch place!

We popped in here for lunch last week, it was delicious a perfect light lunch. I had gazpacho followed by a chicken dish, both were delicious, I think it was about 14 euros for the 2 plates. Everything was fresh and there was a vegetarian choice which can be tricky to find in France.

"Different" is the first impression. Both from a standpoint of the decor which is young and imaginative, pastel and light grey tones, and from the menu. The café-restaurant offers a selection of healthy dishes, organic and local produce prevail. All presented attractively, and at reasonable prices.Check a map of the Nice old-town, to be sure you can find 2 rue Barillerie.
