Cafe De La Place - Nice

This is a typical French café, conveniently located at a vivid square where you can watch people stroll by while having a drink or a bite. We had lunch here and it was very satisfactory with large portions and delicious recipes. The only downside of this place is the service: though the staff is not rude, they are just inattentive and careless towards customers. You have to make effort to attract their attention. But if you don't mind the staff, the place is quite nice.

Terrible service, it ruined our experience. The staff was rude and treated us differently than the french speaking people. Looked mad when i did not eat up. Went for a smoke when we asked for the bill. Good pizza. Would rather reccomend the other restaurants nearby.

Headed here as we were able to sit outside even though it was raining heavily for most of the day (the rest of our week was sunshine all the way). We had a Biggie Burger and a Salade Nicoise with fries accompanied by beer and wine. Coffee to finish. Pleased to say that the service and food were all very good, felt relaxed and not pressured to finish our lunch quickly.

I recommend the quality of the dishes. An impeccable service, no waiting even by a great affluence, a staff with small care of customers and the dessert card, a pleasure, we bring you all desserts on a tray... never seen
