U Need A Pita Chop House

On the menu next to classic poutine (GF) gluten free..even the employees’ shirt advertised GLUTEN FREE YES WE ARE written on the back...but the poutine I ate had me dealthy sick all night! Do they coat the fries in flour!! What Happened here??? For one, staff cook everything in the same oil (so it’s contaminated oil) other locations I’ve been to have trained their staff to only cook fries in one fryer for this specific reason! Clueless staff, poor training and not enough care for those suffering with food allergies! Was the gravy given to me also one with wheat flour..I just about admitted myself to the hospital that’s how bad of a reaction I had! Warning goes out to people avoiding gluten, stay away from this U need a pita! Try elsewhere, buyer beware!

Print Advertising claims vegan options including falafels but they tried to deep fry them in the same frier that they do meat in. The staff were completely clueless. Very disappointed in service and knowledge. When you advertise as vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a vegan menu at least provide vegan food!! Would NOT go back and definitely Not recommend!

This is an unique restaurant. It has vegan and vegetarian options, gluten-free. My wife took a salad box. She said it was delicious. I took a vegetarian hamburger with fries. I was able to chose the toppings. We sat at a round table and enjoyed our lunch. The server was very friendly. He talked with us. That was cool! There were several people in this restaurant. Worthwhile to try!

I was taking friends from out of town to Lee Valley Tools and Home Depot and they wanted to stop for lunch. They weren't interested in the few local places I suggested so we thought we would try U Need a Pita. I had passed this place many times but had never gone in. We asked what they suggested and they told us they were known for their burgers. I had the chipotle burger and fries and my friends had burgers and poutine. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time and the fries were great. I will definitely be back.

Ordered a Cajun burger and fries. Cajun wasn’t very spicy but delicious and the hand cut fries were awesome. Price was very good received all this for less than $8. The burger was from fresh ground beef. Fresh fast food. Awesome!!
