The bean curd and broccoli with General Tso sauce was delicious. My wife enjoyed her sweet and sour chicken and was pleased with her selection. However, the meal was a bit expensive.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. I've never encountered ruder people in my life. I'm shocked that this restaurant is still in business, given their terrible customer service. I spent $30 and didn’t receive three of my items. When I called to request replacements, they hung up on me multiple times and then argued with me. I will never return to this establishment again.
The food had an artificial taste, making it unpleasant to eat. I've never had this problem before, but I noticed it at another Chinese restaurant I visited recently as well. I think I'll be taking a break from Chinese food for a while. It feels like they might be preparing things in a different way, but whatever it is, the flavor is quite off-putting.
What is going on with my favorite Chinese restaurant? The sweet and sour chicken is so overcooked that all I can taste is crunchy batter—there’s barely any meat. Our chow mai fun was incredibly dry, and the rice noodles were not even cooked through, just crunchy. My cousin added egg to his shrimp fried rice, but instead of being scrambled, it was just blobs of egg white. To top it off, the lo mein was also really dry with hardly any sauce. While the customer service is excellent, I’m just unsure about the food quality. Unfortunately, I can’t justify spending money on such disappointing food. It’s a shame because I’ve been dining here for 15 years, but the quality has really declined recently.
