Fiddlers Green - Newtownards

Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant features ample parking and a fantastic pub atmosphere. The drinks are delicious, and the ambiance is lively. We received a warm welcome, and the bar staff were excellent. There was live music during our visit, and the place was bustling with patrons of all ages. Overall, I would rate the rooms, service, and location all at 5 stars.

This cozy pub is located just a short distance from the seafront and is open from Thursday to Sunday. The host was incredibly entertaining, sharing fascinating stories about "Game of Thrones" and other television dramas that have featured the pub. Notably, this establishment is home to Door 2 from the Game of Thrones collection. Please note that they no longer serve food, but it’s a fantastic spot for a good drink and some lively conversation. Nearby, you can take a quick walk or drive to the Portaferry ferry, which crosses Strangford Lough in just 15 minutes and takes you to Strangford on the other side.

I had a wonderful stay at Roomz in Portaferry. The room was impeccably clean and extremely comfortable, and the breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Excellent value.
