Bidrage med feedbackI went to this restaurant today with three friends and we all really enjoyed our meals. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. After reading a negative review from someone else, I don't think they were at the same restaurant as us. The same reviewer mentioned that other restaurants in the area also didn't meet their expectations for an Ulster fry. I wouldn't let this review discourage you - I recommend trying it out for yourself. I'm sure you'll be pleased that you did.
I visited this restaurant on Friday, 28/07/2017 just after lunch. I ordered the medium fry and coffee, and I'm glad I didn't choose the small size. However, I was quite disappointed when my fry and coffee arrived. The egg was overcooked, the soda tasted dry, the potato bread was slightly burnt, and the sausage was cut in half and cooked. The only positive was that the coffee was good. I would recommend leaving the fries to Mistyburn. Perhaps I should have requested a soft egg, but it is a basic item that the cooks should be able to prepare properly. If I do decide to return, it will only be for the coffee. Cooking is an art best left to the professionals.
What a little gem on my way to Ballyclare! Fresh cream scones and old-time welcome. The smiley staff are like friends welcoming you to their own kitchen. A little gem and very reasonably priced. Lovely little window seats available with an outside eating area for the warmer weather.
A family-owned coffee shop, now called Deja Brew, impressed us with its friendly staff and quick service. Our group of four was promptly served lunch without any long delays. We highly recommend trying their delicious sausage and bacon bap, along with their excellent coffee and selection of tray bakes. Although we didn't try the ice creams, we were pleased to see that the shop is back under its original owners and we wholeheartedly suggest giving this little gem a visit.
