Barista - Newtownabbey

Terrible coffee, overpriced. £10 for 2 coffees and a sausage roll with no meat in it. Won't be back. Knew the minute I walked in in it wouldn't be good.

This café is excellent, and the café manager is very attentive.

I originally hesitated to write this review due to the negative feedback I had read about this restaurant. However, I am pleased to report that either things have changed or the other reviews were exaggerated or simply unlucky. We were camping nearby and decided to try their breakfast. We ordered a breakfast bap and a scone, both of which were delicious. The coffee was also quite good, and they were attentive to our requests. My wife's latte, which is often made improperly at other places, passed her taste test with flying colors. My americano was tasty, and when I asked for extra room for milk, they not only obliged but even offered to add the milk for me. Overall, we had a positive experience and would recommend giving this restaurant a chance despite any previous negative feedback. Personally, I did not find the restaurant to be dirty at all.

My friend and I went to this restaurant and ordered ice cream. I was charged double the amount for my ice cream. The woman working there claimed my transactions weren't going through, but I showed her on my bank app that they were. She assured me the money would be refunded to my account, but it never was. She then told one of the workers not to use that payment terminal, but another man came in and she continued using it, resulting in him being charged twice as well. Unfortunately, I never got my money back.

Lovely food reasonably priced great staff and very dog friendly.
