Darley Street Bistro - Newtown

The classic American burger is super tasty. Much better than the much hyped Mary's down the street. The fries were also pretty awesome. Pretty good for pub food. Also a large outdoor roof area with sunbrellas. No smoking up there which is AWESOME.

The Botany View at first glance is not where you would expect to have a top notch meal at pub prices. The decor is modest but the menu is amazing! The crowds that gather here every night know where the good food in Newtown is. It's like having a top end meal that actually fills the belly and doesn't sting the wallet! Highly recommend it.

Dont be fooled by the clientele that sit at the front pub.... once you walk through to the back and order from the extensive bar and restaurant then move upstairs you are suddenly transported to a family friendly level with outdoor space. The food here is fantastic... order the pork belly or salmon...

This is one of the best kept secrets on King St. Such amazing food not worthy of a pub! Never been disappointed with anything I've ordered here.

Love this place. There is a great menu and the food is delicious. Dining area is a bit noisy, but the outside area is great.
