Clem's Chicken Shop - Newtown

Chicken is delicious my first time here and heard so much about it and I love the salads. I was looking fwd to the potatoe salad but I couldnt stop eating the egg one. The family are enjoying it all. thank you for the food.

Food was average but tasted fine, wasn’t worth the 2 hr wait time though. Decent portion size, I didn’t get any of the salads in the photo of the mixed salad and I only got 2 not the 4 pictured..maybe my mistake for thinking I would but perhaps a description outlining what it actually is would help people avoid the confusion. Pastitsio with Veg was fine. Gravy was a little watery

We love everything about Clems Chicken! the food is always good, servings are generous and staff are good. We have been coming here for nearly 40 years and can honestly say that we have never been disappointed except when they run out of coleslaw . When my son comes for a visit from Spain, Clems is a must.

Potato salad tasted too much of vinegar and really wasnt nice to eat. The chips were not seasoned and tasted and felt like they had been cooked for a while. The chicken however was spot on as usual and saved my rating from being lower

Everything was cooked and this is the only chicken shop ive been to where the half chicken actually tasted good and juicy just melted in my hand the best the i change between chips and salad but both are really good and gravy perfect keep up the good work
